Born in Matão, in the countryside of São Paulo state, he holds a film degree from FAAP and is part of Projeto Paradiso's talent network. He founded JOKI in 2019 to make his own projects, and today also produces the work of other directors.
I write stories that start in the ordinary world and walk toward the numinous — films where, by the end, the viewer wonders how the hell we got here. I call that psychedelic. Not in the sense of bright colors and hallucination: psychedelic is the film that forces you to perceive the world around you differently.
